Westminster Historic Gymnasium

 

The Westminster women's volleyball, women's basketball and men's basketball team compete in the Westminster Gym. The gym is known for Winston Churchill's "Iron Curtain" speech given in the gym on March 5, 1946. The court is named in honor of Henry P. Iba, a hall-of-fame basketball coach, winner of two Olympic gold medals, and a Westminster basketball alum and graduate. 

The gymnasium is a registered national historic landmark.

Wetterau Center for Field Sports

 

The Wetterau Center for Field Sports houses the main athletic training room and the student-athlete weight room. A handful of coaches' offices are located in the building as well as the football and men's soccer lockers rooms.

Blue Jay Field at Kent and Judith Mueller Stadium

 

Blue Jay Field and Kent and Judith Mueller Stadium is home to the Blue Jay football and men's and women's soccer teams. The new turf field began construction in June 2018 and the stadium was completed in fall 2023. The first soccer game was held on the field Sept. 8, 2018, with the first football game held on Sept. 15, 2018. The field and stadium complex was made possible due to a 4 million dollar gift from Kent ('62) and Judy Mueller.

Saucier Field

 

Saucier Field is home to Blue Jay baseball. The field is named after Frank Saucier, a professional baseball player for the St. Louis Browns and a Westminster baseball alum and graduate.

Blue Jay Field

 

The softball team plays their home games on the Blue Jay Field.

Robert Elder Memorial Tennis Courts

 

The men's and women's tennis teams compete at the Elder Tennis Courts. There are six courts total and the complex is open year round for play.
