ST. LOUIS - Blake Strebler earned the SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week after his offensive explosion in the team's double-header sweep of Robert Morris-Springfield.
The junior reached base in all of his appearances on the day, going 5-5 at the plate and drawing a walk.
In game one, Strebler was 3-3, including smashing his second home run of the year, while scoring three runs and driving in two RBI.
Strebler hit two home runs in the second game of the day to increase his season total to four, which leads the team, to drive in five more RBI, increasing his total on the day to seven.
Westminster stays at home to face Robert Morris-Peoria in a three-game weekend series. The teams will face off twice Saturday with the first pitch at noon. Sunday, the first pitch is scheduled for noon as well.
