FULTON, Mo. - Westminster baseball dropped two games of a doubleheader to Webster, who is ranked No. 1 in their division in the SLIAC. 

Westminster falls to 16-10 overall and 11-7 in the conference with the losses. 

Brett Denney took the mound in game one, pitching 2.2 innings before being pulled. He took the loss, falling to 1-0 on the year. 

Despite the 11-3 loss, the Blue Jays got on the board first with a homerun from Tanner Branneky, his team-leading eighth on the year. 

The Gorlocks would score all 11 runs in the second, third, and fourth innings to take the lead and never look back. 

Ryan Klimkiewicz and Nick Bohlmann each added RBI singles in the fifth, but it wasn't enough for Westminster to come back. 

Alex Dickneite took the mound in game two, pitching eight innings and giving up just three runs, including going six straight scoreless innings for the Blue Jays. 

The first run was scored by Webster on a solo homerun in the seventh inning. Westminster answered by together a scoring run culminating in an RBI single from A.C. Long to score Will Stonecipher, evening the score at one run apiece. 

Webster scored three more runs in the eighth and ninth to seal the win, and Westminster wasn't able to put together a rally to get back in the game. 

The Blue Jays finish the regular season next weekend with a three-game series against Eureka. All three games will be played at Saucier Field with a doubleheader Saturday and a single game Sunday.
