Strebler Earns NCBWA Division III Honorable Mention Hitter of the Week

The awards keep coming for Blake Strebler after his four-home run performance against Spalding last Saturday.

Strebler was given the Honorable Mention Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association after he smashed four home runs, including a grand slam, to hand Spalding its first conference loss of the season. He went 4-5 with seven runs batted in. 

On the week, Strebler hit .471 with four home runs and eight RBI while scoring seven runs. He had multiple hits in the three of his four games and finished the week with a 1.235 slugging percentage.

Austin Parent of Pitt-Bradford earned the Hitter of the Week title after hitting .565 for the week, including hitting three homeruns and two grand slams in one outing.
