After hitting almost .600 in the team's postseason-clinching series against Fontbonne, Ryan Clavin was named the SLIAC/Diamond Sports Hitter of the Week.
The team posted a three-game series sweep of Fontbonne to secure a spot in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Mat 10-12. During those games, Clavin went 7-12 at the plate to post a .583 batting average.
He recorded multiple hits in all three games, including earning five runs for Westminster and adding four RBI and a home run.
His numbers include a .615 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage.
Westminster finishes the regular season with a doubleheader against Principia Thursday. First pitch is set for 12 p.m.
