Clavin, Strebler Named to D3Baseball.com All-Region Teams

Ryan Clavin and Blake Strebler continue to earn honors even after the season, this time being named to the D3baseball.com All-Central Region teams.

Clavin landed a spot on the second team after being named the Newcomer of the Year in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as a utility player. He appeared in 33 games and recorded a .336 batting average. He led the Blue Jays in home runs this season with eight, which was also tied for first in the SLIAC, and was second on the team in hits (41) and RBI (34). He also appeared in 12 games as a pitcher, starting in four, and pitching his way to a record of 5-3. Of his four starts, two of them were complete games. Clavin was second on the team in ERA at 4.46. 

Strebler earned a spot on the third team. A second team nod in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference this season, he hit .364 with five home runs and 22 runs batted in. Strebler was second in the conference in slugging percentage while leading the Blue Jays at .648. His on-base percentage of .476 also led the Blue Jays and placed fourth in the SLIAC.
