FULTON, Mo. - Westminster baseball announces the 2019 schedule which features five home series, including one nonconference.
Westminster starts the 2019 season by traveling to Ozarks in Arkansas for a three-game series Feb. 16-17.
The Blue Jays open up at home March 2-3 with the first St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series of the year against Eureka, set for three games over Saturday and Sunday. Westminster remains at home the following weekend for their only home nonconference series of the season against Robert-Morris Springfield, another three-game series.
From March 16-22, Westminster travels for Florida for its annual spring break trip to play in the RussMatt Invitational Tournament, featuring series against three teams which include Centre College and two teams to be named.
After returning from spring break, the Blue Jays finish the season with seven conference series, starting with a home matchup against Webster March 30-31. The rest of the home conference schedule includes a doubleheader against Greenville April 10 and a doubleheader against MacMurray April 20. The away schedule includes a three-games series at Iowa Wesleyan April 6-7, doubleheaders against Spalding (April 13), Blackburn (April 17), and Principia (April 27), and a three-games series at Fontbonne May 4-5 to end the season.
The SLIAC Tournament is set for May 9-11, hosted by Greenville.
