Anthony Washington was named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after his performance at Gustavus Adolphus last Saturday.
Washington collected an interception, forced fumble, fumble recovery, and four tackles in the Blue Jay loss.
The junior will look to continue his defensive prowess in the home opener and conference opener against Minnesota-Morris Saturday at noon.
