FULTON, Mo. - Westminster men's basketball has finalized the 2017-18 schedule.
After an exhibition contest against local opponent Columbia College, the Blue Jays open the regular season Nov. 15 at Simpson.
The home opener is Nov. 21 against Coe, followed by a Thanksgiving trip to Knox and Monmouth Nov. 25 and 26.
Westminster will open St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play against Webster at home on Nov. 29.
The Blue Jays continue in December with three straight SLIAC match-ups, including two away games against Greenville (Dec. 2) and Spalding (Dec. 9) and one home game against Principia Dec. 16.
The nonconference schedule is completed with three straight games to end December. Westminster will face Millikin Dec. 17 at home, Sewanee Dec. 29 at home, and travel to St. Louis Washington University fora New Year's Eve contest.
January and February is completely dedicated to SLIAC games, including five home contests in January. The home games are Fontbonne (Jan. 3), Eureka (Jan. 10), MacMurray (Jan. 13), Greenvile (Jan. 24) and Spalding (Jan. 27). Westminster will also face Iowa Wesleyan (Feb. 7) and Blackburn (Feb. 17) to complete the home schedule.
The Blue Jays will be on the road for seven SLIAC match-ups, including Iowa Wesleyan (Jan. 6), Blackburn (Jan. 17), Webster (Jan. 20), Principia (Jan. 30), Fontbonne (Feb. 3), Eureka (Feb. 10), and MacMurray (Feb. 14).
