Blue Jays Place Seventh at McNaughton Invitational

The Westminster men's golf team placed seventh at the McNaughton Invitational hosted by Illinois College.  

Sophomore Brendan Smith tied for 20th after finishing the 18 holes with an 81, just nine over par. Junior Connor Muenks added just one stroke, tying for 22nd with two others.

Senior Blake Stonecipher shot an 86 while sophomore Blake Harris finished with a score of 89. Freshman JB Sanchez recorded the final team score with a 92. 

Sophomore Nick Carlos and freshman Dustin Seibolt played independently and shot a 96 and 97, respectively. 

The Blue Jays travel back to Illinois College on Friday as the compete in the two-day Blueboy Invitational starting on April 15.
