Blue Jay Golf Places 8th at Blueboy Invite

The Westminster men's golf team placed eighth at the Blueboy Invite held by Illinois College. The team finished the two-day invite with a final score of 714.

Smith finished day one with a 78, just four over par. On day two he shot an 86, finishing the Invitational in a four-way tie for 20th with a 164.

Freshman Blake Harris lowered his score on day two to an 84 after day one's 91. Overall, he tied for 24th with a 175.

Junior Connor Muenks placed 40th with a score of 184, and freshman Dustin Seibolt placed 43rd with a 191.

The golf team closes out their season on Monday, April 18, at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Golf Tournament. The two-day tournament will take place at Aberdeen Golf Club in Eureka, Mo.
