2016: Austin played in 18 games, starting in 16. He recorded 1 goal while taking 12 shots. 

2015: Austin was a member of the SLIAC All-Tournament Team. He played in 20 games and started 18. As a defender, he recorded three goals, two of which were game-winning goals. He also posted three assists. 

2014: Austin played in 19 games and added five assists. 

Personal: Austin is the son of Summer Skinner and Paul Patterson and has one sibling, Tripp.
