INDIANOLA, Iowa - Westminster men's soccer well 5-0 to Simpson to complete the nonconference portion of the season.
The Blue Jays fall to 1-7 with the loss.
Simpson dominated the first half of play, scoring four of their five goals in the first 45 minutes of play. Their first goal was in the seventh minute.
The Blue Jays managed 10 shots in the game, including six on goal, but couldn't connect with the back of the net.
Connor Bandre' and Chase Vogt split time in goal, but Bandre' eventually took the loss.
The Blue Jays open St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday at Spalding.
"Our new season starts next Saturday," said Westminster Head Coach Adam Galla.
