Westminster Men's Track and Field Takes Third at SLIAC Championships

GREENVILLE, Ill. - Westminster men's track and field scored 48 points to just pass Spalding for a third-place team finish in the SLIAC Championships. 

Glen Teubner, Addison Conway, and Christopher Idleberg each had the highest finish for the Blue Jays, with Teubner finishing second in the 10,000 meters, Conway finishing second in the 400-meter hurdles, and Idleberg finishing second in the shot put.

Teubner finished the race in 35 minutes, 57.42 seconds, while Conway finished the lap in 57.67 and Idleberg recorded a mark of 11.16 meters to claim their 24 total points.

Teubner also recorded a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and Idleburg marked a fifth-place finish in the discus.

Also scoring points for Westminster was Ryan Dyer, finsihing in fifth in the 400 meters. Jack Perdue also took home a fifth-place finish in the 10,000 meters.
