Nine Named 2014-15 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, Team Named to NFCA All-Academic Team

The 2014-15 Westminster softball team had nine members named 2014-15 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athletes. The team was named to the NFCA All-Academic Team with a 3.49 cumulative grade point average (GPA). 

The nine members from Westminster named 2014-15 NFCA Division III All-America Scholar-Athletes are: Anne Baker, Abby Bartley, Ashley Flood, Alyson Hahn, Brittany Hodge, Kelsi Hill, Madison McKindley, Kim Morrison and Shannon Perrigo. These student-athletes maintained a 3.50 GPA or better throughout the school year.

Westminster was one of five St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) teams and one of 97 overall teams recognized by the NFCA for their success in the classroom. A team must hold a cumulative GPA of a 3.00 or better to be recognized. 

The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams and individual student-athletes for their submitted team GPA's for the academic year.
