Burney kept up her hot hitting streak in game two, hitting an RBI double to score two runs in the first inning.

Blackburn got two runs back in the second, but a big fifth inning for the Blue Jays was enough to end the game after five innings.

Westminster plays a nonconference matchup against Central Methodist Tuesday before playing No. 1 Greenville at home. The winner will win the regular sesaon and receive the top seed for the conference tournament.

"I'm proud of all the girls and the great season they're having," said Westminster Head Coach Joe Henderson. "It's been a fun season and I hope everyone comes out next Saturday for a chance at winning the regular season!"
