The Blue Jays got on the board early with a two-run home run from Erica Burney, her fourth of the season and her 28th RBI.

Westminster added four more runs to their lead in the fourth inning on singles from Callie Collier and Anne Baker. Amber Tepen added a two-run double to make the score 6-0.

Brooke Laidley tallied the seventh run on an RBI single in the fifth.

"The adversity worked in our favor today," said Westminster Head Coach Joe Henderson. "We played loose and had fun, and Hahn was great."

The Blue Jays advance in the tournament to face the winner of Greenville and Webster Saturday at 2 p.m. at ABC Park.
