ST. LOUIS - Andrea Zalis earned her second SLIAC Player of the Week award of the season with her performance during the week of Jan. 1 - 7.
Westminster won two conference games against MacMurray and Blackburn, improving their SLIAC record to 4-2.
Zalis tallied 17 points and nine rebounds in the Blue Jay win at MacMurray Wednesday.
Saturday, she broke the Westminster gameday record for scoring by pouring in 35 points. She went 11-16 from the field, including 6-9 from behind the arc. She also was a perfect 7-7 from the freethrow line.
Westminster continues conference play Wednesday with a home matchup against Iowa Wesleyan at 6 p.m.
