Westminster Women’s Basketball Adds Hadley to 18-19 Roster

FULTON, Mo. – Westminster women's basketball Head Coach James Arnold announced the addition of Connar Hadley (Anna, Ill.) to the roster for the 18-19 season.

"We are ecstatic Connar chose Westminster," said Arnold. "She adds another strong post presence for us next year and will help us right away."

Hadley has been a defensive standout at Anna-Jonesboro Community High School for the past two seasons, being named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and 2017. In addition, she was named to the 2017 Fairfield All-Tournament Team and the 2017 Harrisburg All-Tournament Team.

"Connar has good feet, great hands, and plays really really hard," said Arnold. "She has a high IQ and will not be outworked. I love that Connar is also not afraid to talk and she is a leader. Even as a freshman I think that her personality will be an asset to our program."

Hadley plans to go into the dual Nursing program at Westminster. While also a basketball standout, she's also been a member of the Beta Club, student council, and the health advisory team. She was also the president of the National Honor Society.

"I chose Westminster because of the high academic standard," said Hadley. "I loved the small town feel and I felt like I would be at home in Fulton and with the basketball team and program."
