Wolfe Signs With Westminster Women's Basketball

Courtney Wolfe (Loose Creek, Mo. / Fatima) is the latest addition to the Westminster women's basketball roster for the 2018-19 season.

"We were ecstatic when we got the call that Courtney was going to be a Blue Jay," said Westminster Head Coach James Arnold. "She can flat out stroke it and really helps us improve our perimeter shooting. Not only that but she is a really good athlete and has great length. Her personality and work ethic will fit in extremely well and she will have a tremendous impact on our program and on our campus."

Wolfe has many accolades to her name from her four years of high school basketball for Fatima, including being named the Conference MVP in 2017 and First Team All-District in both 2017 and 2018.

Her name is plastered into the record book at Fatima as well, including the record for points in a single game with 45, the record for three-pointers in a season with 91, the record for three-pointers in a career at 211 and the record for most steals in a season at 110.

Along with her basketball accolades, Wolfe was an All-State, All-Conference, and All-District volleyball player at Fatima.

"I chose Westminster because I like the small campus and the home-like atmosphere," said Wolfe. "I immediately felt comfortable on campus with the basketball coaching staff."

At Westminster, Wolfe plans to major in biology with plans to pursue physical therapy.
