ST. LOUIS – Westminster sophomore Abbie Reece (Cape Girardeau, Mo. / Cape Central) has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for women's basketball.
Reece scored a career-high 29 points in Westminster's 80-71 win over Eureka on Saturday. Reece also grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds to earn her first career double-double. She also led the Blue Jays with five assists in the game.
Next up the Blue Jays will head to St. Louis on Wednesday to play Washington University in a non-conference game.
