Westminster Golf Competes in MacMurray Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Westminster men's and women's golf sent full squads to the MacMurray Invitational, with Kurt Matheny posting a top-five finish and Bailee Zemianek posting a career low round.

Zemianek paced the women's side to shoot her career-low 107, closely followed by Makayla Jackson and Connar Hadley who were each a few strokes behind. Jahne Williams also competed for the first time this season to round out the squad.

"It's been a couple weeks since we've been able to get out but I'm happy the ladies were able to compete as a team," said Westminster Head Coach James Arnold. "It was great to see Jahne in action for the first time and great to see Bailey put together her career low round. We'll take a little break and get back at it in the spring."

The men's team tied for fourth overall, with Matheny leading the Blue Jays and placing fifth, shooting a 78. Zane West-Derby posted an 81 to follow Matheny. Andrew Bennett, Mikie Ryback, and Sawyer Breland rounded out the team for Westminster.

The tournament completes fall competition for both teams.
