COLORADO SPRINGS - Westminster women's lacrosse opened their spring break trip with a loss at University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

The Blue Jays fall to 0-7 on the seaosn with the 20-0 loss. 

After giving up 14 goals in the first half, Westminster resonded with a strong defensive effort in the second half to give up just six goals. 

Nickee Brumbaugh played her first game in goal while Peyton Hall moved to defense. Brumbaugh led the team in ground balls with two and made 13 saves.

The Blue Jays travel to Adams State Friday, March 23, to complete the trip to Colorado. The game is set for 12 p.m. CST.
