Women's Soccer Picked Third In SLIAC Preseason Poll

Westminster women's soccer was chosen to finish third in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference this season, based on a poll from the league's head coaches. 

The Blue Jays feature seven returners from last year's 9-8 squad, including Morgan Henry, Katherine Hammond, and Paige Townsend

Topping the poll for the fifth consecutive year was Webster with 80 points and eight first-place votes, followed by Fontbonne with 73 points and two first-place votes. 

Westminster received 61 points to sit in third place. 

The Blue Jays open the 2017 season September 3 at Millikin.
