CONWAY, Ark. - Westminster women's soccer shut out Hendrix to take home a victory from their weekend road trip.

"I'm proud of our overall team performance," said Westminster Head Coach Wendy Sanchez. "We did a good job of coming out strong and making sure we executed our game plan."

Westminster maximized their time on offense, recording just six shots to the Warriors' 20.

It was Madison Ekern who capitalized on one of her her two shots of the game, finding the back of the net in the 29th minute on an assist from Cara Wilfong

Westminster played lock down defense the rest of the game to hold Hendix, including defending 15 second-half shots from the Warriors.

"I have to give credit to our backline and midfield for staying strong and organized for 90 minutes," said Sanchez.

Sarah Cradick played all 90 minutes in goal, making nine saves.

"Sarah made some really great saves today and I'm happy to see her earn another shutout," said Sanchez.
