Westminster Women's Soccer Plays Fontbonne to Scoreless Draw

FULTON, Mo. – The Westminster women's soccer team played Fontbonne to a 0-0 tie at home on Saturday. Westminster is now 4-8-3 overall and 4-1-2 in conference.

The Blue Jays were outshot by Fontbonne 23-3 in the match.

Westminster goalie Sarah Cradick made four saves in the first half to keep the game scoreless going into the halftime break. Cradick made two saves in the second half and in each overtime period to finish the game with 10 saves in 110 minutes.

Cradick and the Westminster defense have now held opponents scoreless for 573.24 minutes dating back to the opening minutes of their 3-1 win over Spalding on Oct. 9.

Madison Ekern and Abby Klos each had a shot on goal for the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays will play their Iowa Wesleyan on Wednesday in their regular season home game.
