ST. LOUIS - Clara Baldwin was named the SLIAC Newcomer of the Year for women's tennis, a first for the program.
Baldwin played mostly at No. 2 singles during the year, compiling a record of 9-1 throughout the fall and spring seasons, and helping her team to a 3-3 conference record.
Baldwin also picked up a win at No. 1 singles against nonconference opponent Stephens.
Westminster women's tennis took home a fifth-place finish last weekend in the SLIAC tournament, defeating Blackburn.
