The Westminster Blue Jays women's tennis team welcomed the Bethel College Threshers to their home courts for the first home dual of the season.

The Threshers proved to be too tough to handle on this day, overcoming Westminster by a final score of 8-1.

In singles, Natalie Tiffany earned the Blue Jays' win on the day, beating Bethel's Breanne Rogers 6-3, 6-3. 

In doubles, the Blue Jays' top team of Clara Baldwin and Alexa McPherson began their season against the team of Kimberly Buzbee and Jennifer Harrison, falling by a score of 8-3.

Westminster continues the season on the road next week as they travel to STLCP at 3:00pm on Friday, March 9th.
