Six members of the Westminster women's tennis team took home All-Conference honors, while Head Coach David Dyson was named the 2017-18 SLIAC Coach of the Year.
Dyson led the team to a 4-1 record in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which was good enough for a second place finish. The team also posted a, 8-3 overall record.
This is Dyson's third time winning the Coach of the Year award.
Also earneing All-Conference recognition were the doubles teams of Sydney Atteberry and Payton Beeler and Meaghan McGuire and Laural Royer. Each pair earned a spot on the First Team for doubles.
Four singles players were named to the All-Conference Second Team, including Clara Baldwin, Atteberry, Beeler, and Alexa McPherson.
The doubles pair of Baldwin and McPherson were named to the Second Team for doubles.
Royer earned a spot on the All-Sportsmanship team due to her consistent display of sportsmanship throughout the season.
Westminster women's tennis made it to the championship match of the SLIAC Tournament before falling to Webster, 5-3, to end their season.
