Westminster Women's Tennis earned an impressive win on Wednesday against Illinois College.
The Blue Jays surpassed the Lady Blues with ease by a final score of 6-3 to improve their overall season record to 1-2.
In doubles, Westminster came away with two victories, where the duos of Clara Baldwin/Sydney Attebery and Allison Frisella/Isabel O'Neil each notched match wins.
In singles, Clara Baldwin and Isabel O'Neil walked away with 2-set victories by final scores of 6-4,6-0 and 6-0,6-0, respectively. Junior Allison Frisella also won her match in a hard-fought three-sets by a final score of 1-6,6-2,10-2.
Westminster will head into the conference season this Saturday, April 4th beginning with a 10am match against the Webster Gorlocks.
