Elsah, Illinois 1/29/2022- The Westminster Women's track and field team started the indoor portion of their 2022 season in the Principia College relays.
Freshman Moenasia Sidique (Mexico,Mo / Mexico) would compete in the 200 and 500-meter dash. Sidique would finish 16th in the 200, posting a time of 28.85 seconds. She would finish ninth in the 500, with a time of 1:28.33.
Junior thrower Emily Nelson (St.Louis, Mo./Timberland) competed in the shot put and placed 25th. She posted a mark of 6.75 meters.
The women's track and field team continues their indoor season on February 26th, when they compete in the SLIAC indoor conference meet.
