FULTON, Mo. - Westminster volleyball returned to its winning ways with a 3-0 sweep over Blackburn.

Westminster improved to 14-9 overall and 10-3 in the SLIAC.

"It was nice to see our ladies come back and play a full match tonight," said Westminster Head Coach Curtis Madson. "We had been struggling with that but we did it tonight."

Westminster dominated each set and didn't let the Beavers come within eight in any of the three sets, winning 25-16, 25-13, and 25-17.

Amanda Kiso and Elizabeth Kelley, the two middle hitters for the Blue Jays, had banner nights by leading the team with nine and eight kills, respectively. Kayla Reeg assisted on 30 points during the match while picking up 11 digs.

"Our middle play tonight is more what we had becoe accustomed to," said Madson. "Credit our passing to get Kayla the ball in the system to give the middle an oppotunity to put the ball away."

Westminster plays its last match of the homestand Friday against MacMurray at 7 p.m.
