Westminster Volleyball Wins Eighth Consecutive Match in Eureka Sweep

FULTON, Mo. - Westminster volleyball sweeps Eureka for its eighth straight win to tie Webster for first place in the conference.

The Blue Jays improve to 13-8 overall and 12-1 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

Westminster trailed only once, early on in the second set, before taking a dominant win in the 3-0 victory. 

The Red Devils came closest to a win in the first set, but Westminster slowly played better, taking the second set 25-17 and finally the fifth 25-15. 

Ashley Kistaitis led the offensive attack with 12 kills. Teresa Becker tallie 34 assists and Bridget Ringwald was strong on defense with 21 digs. 

Westminster faces its toughest conference challenge of the season, traveling to Louisville to face first-place Webster and fourth-place Greenville Saturday.
