Coach Allen joined Westminster in the 2023 season. He started his playing career at Robert Morris University in Chicago in 2018, where he earned second team all-conference honors as a freshman and as a sophomore playing right side and outside. He transferred to Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, where he played club volleyball for four years. He led the cougars to two regional championships and a top ten finish at the national tournament his senior year. He earned a first team all MWPVC honors his senior year for the cougars.
