ELSAH, Ill. - Jessie Kuykendall finished second out of 140 runners at the Principia College Cowbell Invite while the team posted an eighth-place finish.
She recorded a 6K time of 22 minutes, 50.58 seconds, just two seconds behind the first-place finisher.
Alex Rauscher was the seocnd Blue Jay to cross the line, finishing 33rd with a time of 25:15.57.
Taylor Howard finished with a time of 26:25.34 and 64th overall. Sydney Pinkerton finished in 72nd, recording a time of 26:36.64. Madison Zack, crossing the line in 26:37.97 came in 76th overall.
Abby Beach and Charlotte Blair finishedin 78th and 80th, respectively. Beach crossed the line in 26:39.98 and Blair finished with a time of 26:49.98.
Westminster cross country continues competition Oct. 15 at the Illinois College Invitational.
