Roth Shoots 81, Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at William Woods Fall Invite

FULTON, Mo. - Westminster women's golf competed in the William Woods Fall Invite, where senior Rebecca Roth shot an 81, a career high, in the first round.

"These four did a great job over the past two days," said Westminster Head Coach James Arnold. "They fought through the heat and three of them had personal bests rounds including Rebecca's big time 81 on Monday."

After round one, Roth was tied for fourth. She shot a 95 in round two to finish tied for 16th to finish the tournament.

Connar Hadley recorded the next lowest score for the Blue Jays, followed by Bailee Zemianek and Makayla Jackson

Westminster women's golf travels to Jacksonville, Illinois, Sept. 24-25 for the St. Louis Intercollegiate Championships.

"This made it 54 competitive holes in three days for our group and that's a lot," said Arnold. "But I'm excited about the progress they are making and this two day event should really help prepare us for the SLIAC Championship next week. We'll have a few days off, a little short work later in the week, and some separate practice rounds on Saturday before we head to Jacksonville on Monday morning."
