Westminster Cross Country Competes in Columbia College Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Westminster men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Columbia College Invitational on Saturday in Columbia, Mo. Both teams saw multiple runners set personal best times at the meet.

The men's team placed 10th in the meet. Sam Moore set a new personal best time in the 8k, finishing in 61st with a time of 29:59.9. Joseph Labitska (34:42.5) finished 88th for Westminster. Sam

Tadrus also set a new personal best running the 8k in 37:03.6. Jaxon Davis (37:10.9) and Bill Murphy (38:59.3) also competed for the Blue Jays.

In the women's 5k Charlotte Blair recorded a personal best time of 21:32.7 to finish in 43rd. Cara Wilfong also competed for the women's team. Wilfong ran the 5k in 21:54.76 to set a new personal best time.

Both teams will race again at the Principia Cowbell Invite on Saturday Oct. 19.
