Fulton, Mo. – The Westminster College men's and women's track and field teams will be competing in the SLIAC Indoor Championships this weekend hosted by Principia College.  The first event is set to start at 10:00 a.m.

Taking a look at the Westminster College Blue Jays Men's Indoor Season:

 The Blue Jays competed in just two meets this indoor season.  The shortened season was a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Jays competed two of the last three weekends in the TRXC Timing Opportunity Invites 2 and 3 which were hosted by Principia College.

• DeAndre White set P.R. in both of the meets in the shot put.  On February 9^th he threw a P.R. of 10.97 meters.  He followed that up the next week by throwing 11.14 meters.
• White's throw of 11.14 Meters ranks him fourth in the conference heading into the SLIAC Indoor Championships.
• Sam Moore will compete in the 3,000 meter run in the SLIAC Indoor Championships
• Jacob Marshall will compete in the mile run SLIAC Indoor Championships
• Geoffery Giles and Ray Samuels will both throw the shot put in the SLIAC Indoor Championships

• The Blue Jays competed in just two meets this indoor season.  The shortened season was a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Jays competed two of the last three weekends in the TRXC Timing Opportunity Invites 2 and 3 which were hosted by Principia College.
• Gracie Hamrick competed in her first indoor meet by competing in the 60 meter and the 200 meter. In the 60 she ran 8.72 seconds and in the 200 she ran 29.86 seconds
• Hamrick's 60 time has her ranked 7^th in the conference heading into the SLIAC Indoor Championships.
• Hamrick's 200 time has her ranked 9^th in the conference heading into the SLIAC Indoor Championships.
• Haleigh St. Clair was the Blue Jays top shot putter throwing 8.44 meters in the TRXC Timing Opportunity Invite 2.
• St. Clair's throw has her ranked eighth in the conference heading into the SLIAC Indoor Championships.
• Celena Weber had a throw of 7.50 meters which was a P.R. for Weber in the TRXC Timing Opportunity Invite 3.
• Weber's throw ranks her ninth right behind St. Clair in the conference heading into the SLIAC Indoor Championships.
• Emily Nelson will compete this weekend in the shot put heading into the SLIAC Indoor Championships.
