Westminster Places 7th In SLIAC Championships

The Westminster men's golf team placed seventh at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Championships with a final score of 1064.

The Blue Jays finished round one with a 368 before heading out for round two. At the end of day one, the Blue Jays sat in seventh with a score of 716. The team shot a 348 on day two to end the tournament 212 over par. 

Blake Harris and Connor Muenks ended day one tied for 30th with a 177. Harris went on to finish first for the Blue Jays with a score of 263 and tied for 29th. 

Brandon Hammerstone tied for 31st with a 264. Muenks ended the three rounds with a 266, placing 33rd overall.

Blake Stonecipher and Jake Abbott rounded out the team with a 35th (273) and 37th (282) place finish, respectively.
