Blue Jays Knock The Rust Off In Season Opener

Elsah, Illinois 1/29/2022- The Westminster men's track and field team looks to knock the rust off as they start the indoor portion of their 2022 season in the Principia College relays.

Junior Jacob Marshall (Columbia, Mo. / Hallsville) competed in the mile run and posted a time of 5:54.41, and placed 45th.

Senior thrower DeAndre White (Salisbury, Mo. / Salisbury R-4) and freshman Tucker Brown (Cuba, Mo/ Cuba) would compete in the men's shot put.

White posted a mark of 11.72 meters. That was good for 10th overall. 

Brown would finish 19th with a mark of 9.65 meters.

The men's track and field team continue their indoor season on February 26th, when they compete in the SLIAC indoor conference meet.
