2018: Shannon earned first place at the Baker Relays. She also earned Track Athlete of the Week one time during the season.

2017: Shannon led the way for the Blue Jays this season. McCaul earned a fifth-place finish out of 45 competitors in the 800-meter run. She also tallied a second-place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase out of eight runners. She timed in at 11:49.14. McCaul was the top NCAA Division III runner in both events at the John Creer Invitational. She also was the top finisher out of 26 competitors in the 800 meters and took home a win in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Central Methodist Invite. She earned SLIAC's Women's Track Athlete of the Week once this season. She also earned SLIAC Track Athlete of the Year finishing off her incredible season with 3 first place finishes at the SLIAC Championships.

2016: McCaul broke the five-year old 800-meter run record, shaving almost two seconds off the time with her first place finish. She crossed the line in 2:25.64, taking first out of seven runners in the final indoor meet of the season.
