Adams Named Final UMAC Offensive Player of the Week

Westminster's sophomore Latif Adams earned the final Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Offensive Player of the Week award for the 2015 football season. This is the third time Adams has earned this award.

Adams is the final offensive football recipient after scoring four of the Blue Jay's five touchdowns in Saturday's 37-20 win over Minnesota-Morris to tie the Westminster game-day record. His four rushing touchdowns also put a new mark in the season record book with 16. He posted 216 rushing yards, breaking the season rushing yards record with 1,492 yards throughout the 10-game season.

His first rush of the game was a 60-yard touchdown rush to give the Blue Jays the 7-0 advantage. Adams next three rushing touchdowns were two-yards, three-yards and 15-yards.

The Blue Jays finished their season with a 6-4 overall record and placed third in the UMAC with a 6-3 conference record.
