St. Louis, Mo 11/4/2023- The Westminster College men's wrestling team kicked off their season in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday as they competed in the Maryville Open. Freshman, Austin Wetzel, would win his weight-class at 184 pounds. Senior, Montgomery Mills, would place 4th at 285 pounds. Michael Roberts placed 4th at 157 pounds as it was a solid season opener for the Blue Jays. They scored a total of 163 match points, which put them 10th overall.  

Austen Wetzel placed 1st in the 184-pound weight class and scored 25.5 team points.
