Cedar Rapids, IA 3/1/2024- The Westminster College men's wrestling team competed in the NCAA Lower Midwest Regionals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Senior Montgomery Mills qualified for Nationals after winning the 3rd place match by pinfall. Freshman Austen Wetzel placed 4th overall in the 184-pound weight class. Sophomore Michael Roberts would upset the #1 ranked wrestler in the nation and #1 overall seed in the 157-pound weight class to advance to the semifinal match but would place 6th overall.
The NCAA Division III National Championships will take place in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on March 15th-16th. The opening session will begin at noon on Friday, March 15th.
