Jim McEwen was an administrator and men's basketball coach at Westminster from 1984-1998. He amassed a record of 188-199 and won the Ozark Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year twice, in the 1984-85 and 1985-86 seasons. His players earned a total of 24 All-Conference picks across the three conferences Westminster played in during his 14 years. McEwen coached his teams to eight SLIAC Tournament appearances and won the tournament in the 1994-95 season.
