FULTON, Mo. - Austin Kuss recorded a match win against Illinois Valley Community College on one of the most windy days of the year.
The Blue Jays powered through poor weather conditions and 35-40 mph hour winds on Tanglewood Public Golf Course, using match play format against IVCC. Kuss earned a 4 and 3 win over his opponent Devin Cook.
Zane West-Derby took his opponent to 16 holes before eventually falling.
Corey Schmidt, Andrew Bennett, Mike Ryback, and Kurt Matheney rounded out the final three for Westminster.
The Blue Jays continue the season April 8 at Illinois College McNaughton Classic, played at the Jacksonville Country Club.
