Westminster Men's Golf Finishes Seventh at William Woods Spring Invitational

FULTON, Mo. - Westminster golf recorded a seventh-place finish at the William Woods Spring Invitational.

"It was great to see our guys compete on such a tough course and as part of such a competitive field of teams," said Westminster Head Coach Tom O'Donnell. 

Zane West-Derby recorded the top finish for the Blue Jays in 38th place, shooting an 82 on day one and an 81 on day two for a total of 163. 

Kurt Matheney finished in 44th, shooting a 168, while Aubrey Nelson shot a 171 to finish 46th. Mikie Ryback and Corey Schmidt rounded out the final two for Westmister, finishing in 47th and 50th, respectively. 

Westminster travels to the Illinois College McNaughton Invitational in Jacksonville, Illinois, next Monday.
