Men's Cross Country Takes 6th at Forest Park XC Festival

The Westminster men's cross country team placed sixth out of ten teams at the Forest Park XC Festival hosted by St. Louis University on Friday, September 11. The team totaled 158 points in the 5K, beating out Webster University by just one point. The seven Westminster Blue Jay runners averaged a 18:23 race time.

Senior Jesse Edwards finished first for the Blue Jays, placing 12th out of 72 runners with a time of 17:15. 

Junior Glenn Teubner placed 22nd with a time of 17:47, and senior Will Megl crossed the line in 18:03 to take 25th place.

Sophomore Nathan Wilson and senior Jordan Jensen earned the remaining points for the Blue Jays with their 45th place (19:00) and 54th place (19:50) finishes.

Freshman Andrew Patterson and junior Ryan Dyer rounded out the Blue Jay squad, placing 61st (21:09) and 62nd (21:22), respectively. 

The Westminster cross country team will compete in the Augustana Invite for their fourth invitational of the season next Friday, September 25, in Rock Island, Illinois.
