The Westminster men's cross country team placed 37th out of 50 Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA schools at the 2015 Augustana Brissman/Lundeen Cross Country Invitational Friday evening. 

Senior Jesse Edwards' race time at the invitational of 26:13.5 is the second fastest 8K time in Westminster modern school history. He placed 69th with the time, challenging the record he already holds (25:49). 

Junior Glenn Teubner averaged a pace of 5:30, finishing in 152nd place with a time of 27:19.9.

Senior Will Megl was the next Blue Jay to cross the finish line, placing 231st with a time of 28:54.9.

Senior Jordan Jensen and freshman Andrew Patterson rounded out the Blue Jay team, placing 301st (31:10.7) and 315th (32:15.9), respectively. 

The Blue Jays have another long roadtrip next Saturday, October 3, as they travel to Louisville, Kentucky, for the Louisville Cardinal Classic. The race begins at 9:30 a.m.
