Blackburn held the lead one time, and it only lasted 30 seconds. It was all Blue Jays from there. The Blue Jays would take the lead back, going up seven at one point. The Blue Jays would impose their will on Blackburn in the second quarter. They went up 37-24 off a Jodie Bass (Boonville, MO / Boonville) baseline jumper with 4:18 to go in the first half. The Beavers battled back, cutting it to eight near the end of the quarter. Westminster would close out the half scoring five unanswered points and go into halftime with a 42-29 lead over Blackburn.

The Jays put the game away in the third period on the way to scoring a season-high 101 points. They would shoot 47% from the field; 48% from the three-point line, going 15 for 31. The Blue Jay defense caused 23 Beaver turnovers that resulted in 26 points. Westminster also grabbed 49 rebounds, 13 being offensive rebounds.
